UN league table
The United Nations (a big international organisation that helps governments talk and work together) publishes a ranking on how well governments are doing in their digital government work. Have a look at the chart below and see if you can find yours.
The ranking is calculated based on three indexes that measure how effective your country is in deliverying public services online. The indexes are Online Service Index(OSI), Telecommunications Infrastructure index (TII), and Human Capital Index(HCI). The OSI assesses how people like you can easily find and use the online services offered by your government. The TII checks the number of internet users, mobile and landline subscriptions. And the HCI minaly takes into account the average education level and literacy rate in your country.

Did you find yours? If you did, was it higher or lower than you expected? If you didn’t find it, don’t worry. It just means things are just getting started on digital government there, so your job is even more important: you need to go and talk to your government about getting better digital services!
Let’s go and see how we can find out more, so we can keep looking into this!
